The country code has to match the one used at registration. A mismatch is indistinguishable from a wrong password in the error message, which is why a reset that ought to work can look like a dead account.

If the number is no longer reachable, SMS recovery cannot complete and only the platform's support can resolve it. Support is reached from inside the account or through the platform's own published channels. Anyone who contacts you first, unprompted, offering to recover an account should be treated as an impersonator until proven otherwise.

Bharat login ID and invitation code

Platforms in this category do not issue usernames. The login ID is the mobile number the account was registered with, entered with its country code, and that is normally the only identifier a sign-in screen accepts.

The invitation code is a separate thing. It belongs to registration, it records who referred the account, and it is not a password, a login ID or a way in to an existing account. If a code field appears greyed out, the login form is showing rather than the registration form.
